About the Role

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Engineering Professional to join our team in Melbourne. As a Sales and Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate wind farm configurations and WTG pricing sheets in our specialized IT systems
  • Retrieve, review, and challenge cost assumptions to drive optimization of our offerings
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each new project and the key buying criteria / financial metrics
  • Interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to perform value engineering activities
  • Perform Advanced Analytics to develop pricing strategies
  • Secure project approval through internal gate reviews and deliver compelling presentations
  • Coordinate the actions of the cross-functional team during proposal development, contract negotiations, and financial close

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Commercial engineering degree
  • Prior experience with Wind / large infrastructure projects is preferred but not mandatory
  • Customer relationship experience, strong commercial contract understanding, pricing and forecasting experience, sales proposals and tender submissions
