Electrical Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in a global professional services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical engineering services to our customers and providing technical support within the electrical team.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in an engineering discipline, effective technical and practical engineering skills, and experience in Mining, Minerals or Metals. They will also have a good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality electrical engineering services that meet customer specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Identify changes to project scope and communicate them effectively.
  • Assist with proposal preparation, budgeting and scheduling.
  • Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Contribute to studies, analyses and recommend actions.
  • Prepare detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in electrical engineering.
  • Support junior personnel within the electrical team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Develop solutions to issues and problems, and seek assistance when required.
