Trimmer Instructor

Delivering education and training is a vital role in equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen career.

We are currently seeking an experienced instructor to deliver the Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology qualification. This will involve teaching students the essential skills and knowledge required to work in this field, including interior trimming of motor vehicles and boats.

The successful candidate will have recent hands-on experience in motor vehicle and boat interior trimming, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. They will also be able to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the requirements of the qualification.
• Demonstrate and teach students the necessary skills and knowledge required for the qualification.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.

In addition to delivering the qualification, the successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing support to colleagues as needed.

• Recent hands-on knowledge and experience in motor vehicle and boat interior trimming.
• Proven ability to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent predecessor/successor qualification.
• A recognised qualification in a relevant vocational area at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
