Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary:

PERSOLKELLY is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Programmed. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that ICT solutions improve quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements and are fit for business purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Engineers ensure that their test effort is effectively executed and that allocated activities are completed in a structured, consistent manner in accordance with agreed test guidelines
  • Test Engineers use their in-depth knowledge to provide technical advice and development to less experienced testers
  • Senior Test Engineers ensure that all test effort activities are effectively completed and carried out in accordance with agreed test guidelines
  • Senior Test Engineers work under the limited direction of senior staff
  • Senior Test Engineers manage and organise their own work in the context of competing priorities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience and proven understanding of ICT System Testing in Government or large organisation of processes, procedures and use of test management tools
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting and applying in-depth technical analysis, practices and procedures when designing, creating and executing test cases
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing, recording and documenting actions and test results, and reporting using preferred testing tools
  • Demonstrated effective communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects during testing cycles
