Job Description:

KBR Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer - Test and Evaluation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our defence sector, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, strategies, and procedures to assess system performance, functionality, and reliability.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues discovered during testing, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and the full lifecycle of systems integration and test processes, with a proven track record of delivering complex defence projects.

  • Develop and execute test plans, strategies, and procedures to assess system performance, functionality, and reliability.
  • Analyse system requirements to create verification and validation criteria, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Conduct test activities, monitoring conditions, and collecting accurate data for analysis.
  • Assess test results, preparing detailed reports, and recommending system improvements.
  • Identify risks associated with testing and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues discovered during testing.

Requirements: 5-7 years' experience as an Engineer, with a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and the full lifecycle of systems integration and test processes. Proven experience in systems engineering, test, and evaluation, ideally within defence. Previous involvement in complex defence projects, including systems integration, field testing, and acceptance testing.
