We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in providing strategic legal advice and upholding governance and compliance across the organisation.
This key role involves delivering expert legal advice with a strong focus on member and customer service, managing enterprise bargaining processes, dispute resolution, and litigation. You will provide legal counsel to internal teams and executive management, translating complex legal issues into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws degree and a current unrestricted practising certificate, with minimum 5 years' post-admission experience, ideally with unions, membership organisations, or aviation-related sectors. You will demonstrate ability to manage complex processes and multi-party environments, with strong skills in legal research, negotiation, and compliance.
You will work closely with external counsel, government agencies, and industry stakeholders, conducting legal research, interpreting legislation, and providing critical legal opinions. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic and innovative organisation.
