About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Mechanical Tradesperson with our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Install and commission new mechanical equipment and systems as required.
  • Investigate and diagnose mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with other tradespeople, engineers, and team members to achieve maintenance goals.

About You

  • Strong proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel motors.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
