About the role

Kinetik Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical trades person to join our team on a casual basis with a potential opportunity to enter into a full time position for the right person. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to our operations in Adelaide and Regional South Australia. The role will involve providing maintenance and repair services for our clients within the Engineering and Maintenance, Hydraulic and Automation industry's.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment within both the greater Adelaide region and on Mine Site's in Regional South Australia
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions
  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime
  • Document maintenance activities and provide detailed reports
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in a relevant mechanical trade, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
  • Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical trades person, preferably within the engineering and maintenance or Hydraulic and Automation industry's
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
