Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Architect to oversee our software development team and lead OEM enablement projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Linux systems, low-level debugging skills, and leadership abilities.

About the Role

  • Oversight of software development team to deliver OEM enablement projects.
  • Recruit, motivate, mentor, and empower team members to achieve success.
  • Set goals, prioritize tasks, and identify team health indicators.
  • Maximise results of team members and support their career growth.
  • Coordinate with project managers, HWE, QA, and certification management teams.
  • Monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem and handle escalations.
  • Communicate, understand, and resolve technical challenges with OEMs, ODMs, SiPs, IHVs.
  • Prioritise customer requests globally.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM fields, preferably computer science or software engineering.
  • Proven track record in technical roles with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian.
  • Commitment to development and testing methodologies, and maintainable code quality.
  • Experience with management responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong English language communication skills.
