Job Summary:

Nurse Educators play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. They facilitate learning experiences, develop curriculum, and mentor nursing students, leveraging their clinical expertise to foster critical thinking and skill acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing industry currency and professional development opportunities for staff and students.
  • Submit monthly reports on measures taken to engage students during sessions through creative activities and programs.
  • Assessment markings done in accordance with IHNA Policy and Procedure with constructive feedback provided on completed assessments.
  • Conducting simulated and practical placement assessments.
  • Provide monthly report on Student satisfaction surveys conducted and ensure satisfaction rate is maintained at minimum 75%.
  • Feedback collected from facilities as required by IHNA policy and procedure and submitted in Knowledge Hub.
  • Support students with learning difficulty and special needs to ensure they complete the course adequately.
  • Attend monthly educators' meetings.
  • Develop innovative and creative ideas annually to enhance quality program delivery.
