Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at BruntWork. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in scaling up our financial operations, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using industry-leading software like Xero and MYOB, handling foreign currency transactions, and preparing critical financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize daily bookkeeping processes using Xero and MYOB
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle complex foreign currency transactions and conversions
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial records and reports
- Collaborate with the team to scale up bookkeeping operations as the business grows
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Assist in financial analysis to support business decision-making
Requirements
- Proven expertise with Xero and MYOB accounting software
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial data management
- Demonstrated experience in managing foreign currency transactions
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Adaptability and eagerness to grow with the company and take on new challenges
