Your key responsibilities will involve maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents.

  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility regularly.
  • Dispose of waste, including regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
  • FOLLOW strict infection control procedures, using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
  • Ensure cleaning and hygiene supplies are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
  • Use floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys, and consumables effectively.

Requirements:

  • You should be adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • You must be collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • NDIS Workers clearance check or ability to obtain is required.
  • Prior experience in commercial cleaning or Aged Care/Health care/Hospital settings is highly advantageous.
