We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to fill the role of Caregiver Assistants in a community support setting. Our ideal candidate will possess a caring and understanding nature, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide high-quality support to our participants.

About the Opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting participants with daily living tasks, promoting community integration, and empowering them to achieve their goals. You will work collaboratively with families and other support staff to ensure our participants receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting participants with personal care, skill development, mobility, domestic duties, and community access
  • Promoting independence and enabling participants to make their own choices
  • Collaborating with families and other support staff to meet participant needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Flexible working arrangements (including overnights, weekends, and day and night shifts)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Work experience or certificate in disability support work
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Blue card (working with children check) or willingness to obtain before employment
  • National Disability Worker Screening Clearance (yellow card) or willingness to obtain before employment
  • Driver's license and own vehicle
