Childcare Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team in providing high-quality education and care for young children. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to creating a stimulating and supportive environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5 years.

The successful applicant will have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or be working towards this qualification, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop and implement engaging educational programs, build meaningful relationships with children and their families, and contribute to the overall success of our childcare service.

About the Role

This casual and part-time position offers flexibility and variety, with opportunities to work across different rooms and age groups. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs, observing and assessing children's learning, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development and training, with support from our experienced educators and management team.

Key Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or Working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current approved First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management, and Anaphylaxis Management training
  • Understanding of Child Safe Standards
  • Current paid Working with Children Check

This position requires a pre-employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio, and drug & alcohol screen.

Salary: $35.37 Casual rate

Position Status: Casual & Part-Time Opportunities

Hours of work: As required, between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
