About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Professional to join our team at Scallywags Long Day Care and Preschool. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to young children aged 0-5 years.

As a seasoned Educator, you will possess a genuine interest in delivering exceptional service to the families of Bathurst community.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals who share your passion for early childhood education and care. Together, you will contribute to making the service a point of difference from other childcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a high-quality educational program that meets the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • To work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment.
  • To develop and implement effective room management strategies.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports.
  • To participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards the qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and ability to develop and implement a high-quality educational program.
  • Working knowledge of National Quality Standards, Education and Care Regulations and National Law.
  • Experience in a similar role in an Education and Care setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

Salary and Position Details:

$439.57 - $461.85 per week + superannuation. Permanent, Part-Time. 16 hours per week, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm on a rotating roster.
