Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving accounting control procedures, supervising the work of the accounting team, and managing the completion of the month-end close process for numerous entities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor, maintain, and improve accounting control procedures
  2. Supervise the work of the accounting team
  3. Manage the completion of the month-end close process for numerous entities
  4. Maintain complete and accurate accounting records including General Ledger, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet reporting
  5. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for banks, regulators, and other third parties
  6. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual transfer pricing and tax computations
  7. Participate in budgeting process
  8. Coordinate financial audits and tax returns filings with outside public accounting firms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience in a managerial role
  • Experience leading the finance team of a trading company or public accounting experience in the financial services (trading entities) industry
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office software, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to preparing accurate work
