The role of the Lifestyle Officer involves being part of a team at a residential aged care facility. You will be responsible for delivering leisure and lifestyle programs that allow residents to achieve their objectives and maintain independence.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting resident assessments and preparing associated documentation">
  • Designing and facilitating personalized leisure and lifestyle programs based on residents' needs and abilities">
  • Supporting residents in achieving maximum independence and participating in community activities">
  • Monitoring and evaluating programs to ensure they meet resident needs">
  • Organizing outing/bus trip programs and completing associated documentation">
  • Actively seeking feedback from residents and using it to guide quality improvement initiatives">

For this role, we are looking for someone with a Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this) who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. Relevant experience in aged care is essential if not qualified. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also required.
