About the RoleThis role is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team that shares your passion for supporting and advocating for the Aboriginal community.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal societies and cultures, and a commitment to continually building knowledge of these areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide intensive case management and individualised therapeutic support to Aboriginal young people aged 10-14 years and their families
- Offer group diversion and culture-based activities, education workshops and family centred support to address any presenting challenges, prior to escalation
- A commitment to the values that underpin our organisation's vision and purpose
- Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services/Social Work/Psychology
- 3-5 years case management experience in the child welfare field
- A high level of awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities
- Valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
