Youth Residential Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Berry Street's Residential Care Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive home environment, implementing current best practice therapeutic interventions, and supporting young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. A driver's license (minimum green P's) is essential for transporting young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a safe and nurturing home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
- Implement current best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care and child safety.
- Support young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits, while fostering independence.
- A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must complete mandatory upskilling units as required by relevant authorities.
- A valid driver's license with a minimum green P's rating.
