About the Role

New Aim is a leading e-commerce company in Australia, known for its innovative approach to online retail. As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of our products across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carrier Management: Oversee daily distribution operations, coordinating with external couriers to ensure timely parcel dispatch.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, on-time pickup, and carrier faulty rates. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute improvement strategies.
  3. Cost Management: Ensure prompt internal updates about changes in carrier rates, review and resolve discrepancies in carrier invoices, and work with carriers and internal teams to address invoicing issues, keeping costs within the target range.
  4. Transportation Planning: Lead the volume planning process, collaborate with the warehouse team to devise operational plans, and provide guidance to carriers on freight pickup schedules.
  5. Additional Outbound Activities: Manage the onboarding of new carriers and oversee the introduction of new processes or projects with them.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Act as an adaptable backup for the warehouse coordinator and inbound coordinator when required.
Requirements
  1. Comprehensive knowledge of local courier networks and systems.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the local logistics industry.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strong logical thinking, planning abilities, and aptitude for handling unexpected challenges.
  5. Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  6. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  7. Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  8. High-level commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  9. Attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and identify potential risks in contracts and agreements.
