About the Role

The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our shopping centres, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and retailers. This position will work closely with the Operations Manager to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and maintenance of internal and external structures, carparks, signage, road works, and gates.
  • Maintain and service retailer facilities, including staff toilets and loading docks.
  • Ensure centre lighting is maintained, both internally and externally.
  • Assist with minor capital expenditure programs.
  • Engage suitably qualified contractors for more substantial works.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in general maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Experience coordinating contractors within a maintenance environment.
