Theatre Practitioner (Nurse/ODP) Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner (Nurse/ODP) to join our close-knit multidisciplinary team at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. As a Theatre Practitioner (Nurse/ODP), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and delivery of patient care in the theatre department
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Supervise and support junior members of staff to develop their skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC)
- Post-registration experience in a theatre setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
