**Overview of the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Public Area Cleaner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our hotel public areas, including reception, lobby, corridors, and other communal spaces.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in all public areas.
  • Restocking linen pantries and removing dirty linen ready for collection.
  • Ensuring all equipment is in clean working order.
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests.

In addition to your cleaning responsibilities, you will also assist the hotel team with various tasks as required. This may include responding to guest queries, providing information on local attractions, or supporting with event planning.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must also be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.

A proven track record in housekeeping or similar roles is essential, along with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude towards interacting with guests and colleagues. Strong organizational and time management skills are also required, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

You will need to have full Australian working rights and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service. A high level of attention to detail, combined with a willingness to learn and grow within the company, is also desirable.
