About the Role

This position involves overseeing a portfolio of early childhood centres, providing leadership, operational guidance, and hands-on support to Centre Managers through regular site visits.

The focus will be on ensuring high-quality education and care, compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), and achieving operational objectives.

  • Travel to regional Queensland services to provide on-site support and guidance.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Centre Directors to build high-performing teams.
  • Support educational leadership with pedagogical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Monitor service performance, occupancy targets, and budget management.
  • Prepare reports on visits, outcomes, and progress.
  • Maintain readiness for assessments, ratings, and audits.

About You

We seek a confident leader with:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or relevant qualification with leadership experience.
  • 2–5 years' experience as a Centre Manager or Area Manager overseeing multiple services.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and the NQF.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of service leadership, staff management, and community engagement.
  • Current certifications including Working with Children, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.
  • Knowledge of ECEC legislation, assessment and rating processes, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Understanding of EYLF and QKLG frameworks.
  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally respectful practice and family partnerships.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Queensland.
