We are looking for a driven individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in leading a team of passionate sales professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in retail leadership, with a proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets. They will be motivated and driven, with a passion for inspiring a team to succeed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient operation of the store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Motivating the team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  • Closely monitoring store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas of missed opportunity.
  • Effectively managing wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development, ensuring training and succession plans are in place.
  • Ensuring efficient OH&S management and adhering to state and national OH&S legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in retail leadership, preferably as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
  • A motivated and driven 'make it happen' attitude.
  • A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
