We are seeking a skilled professional to fill an exciting opportunity in our Pipe Crew team.

Job Overview

This role involves working on various civil construction projects, including laying sewer, storm water and water main systems. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field of pipe laying.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in manual handling and repetitive tasks, as well as moderate to heavy lifting and reaching. They will also be capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level equipment and setting up pipe laser systems.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
  • Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
  • Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level.
  • Ability to set-up pipe laser.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards.
  • Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable).
Responsibilities
  • Operating 20 tonne plus machines.
  • Demonstrated experience of lifting operations.
  • Ability to carry-out deep excavations.
  • Skilled with working in shoring.
  • Capable of trenching.
  • Placing pipes.
  • Back-fill and compaction.
