Senior Quality Assurance Expert

The role of Senior Quality Assurance Expert is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure to support renewable energy projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality management plans that incorporate client requirements into inspection test plans and certificates.
  • Ensure inspection test plans and certificates are completed to a high standard across all projects, managing the systematic opening, monitoring, and closing of work lots.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of products and components at various production stages and oversee fabrication processes by contractors to meet client specifications.
  • Perform quality audits across projects, fabrication facilities, and supplier facilities, adhering to the project's quality audit schedule.
  • Liaise with clients' quality departments, participate in regular QA coordination meetings, and provide ongoing reporting on project quality issues.
  • Investigate quality defects, implement corrective actions, and report to management, supporting project managers with quality reporting in monthly reports.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to project teams and production staff, promoting best practices and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and monitor continuous improvement programs, select quality inspection tools and software, and review statistical data to identify and eliminate quality problems.
Qualifications/Selection Criteria:
  • 8 years of experience in quality management/engineering or project management in the construction industry.
  • Experience in systems-oriented mechanical and electrical work and commissioning aspects of electrical work would be advantageous.
  • Holds professional membership (Chartered Quality Institute) or working towards this level.
  • A good understanding of risk management processes would be beneficial.
