**About the Engagement**

You will act as the strategic finance lead for a $25M revenue, 20-location franchised business preparing for rapid national growth. The role is embedded, hands-on, and strategic — from the boardroom to the bottom line.

**Your remit will include**:

- Validating and scaling a national franchise financial model
- Developing a board-ready 12-24 month strategic financial roadmap
- Attending board meetings and driving financial accountability
- Coaching internal finance capability
- Implementing scalable reporting and decision-making tools
- Supporting funding, pricing and capital planning

**What We're Looking For**

We want someone who brings financial rigor _and_ commercial empathy. Specifically:

- 10+ years' experience as a CFO or equivalent senior finance role
- Experience in **franchising**, **QSR**, **FMCG**, or **multi-site retail**:

- Strength in modelling, board reporting, systems and governance
- Ability to coach and develop finance talent
- Confident, commercially minded communicator who enjoys working with founders and boards
- CA/CPA qualified or MBA preferred
- Proficient in Xero and other cloud-based platforms
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
