Workshop Yardhand / Labourer

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, providing an exciting entry point into the oil and gas industry.

You will play a vital role in helping support operations, collaborating with tradespeople to efficiently handle equipment and materials.

  • Manage inbound deliveries, stock levels, and accurate inventory, including issuing stock.
  • Support the Trades team with spares and collaborate with tradespeople (mechanics, boilermakers, machinists).
  • Assist in assembling/disassembling components, machinery, and structures; operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and tasks completed, while supporting general labouring needs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, especially in the oil and gas sector.
  • Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working on a computer.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and dedicated to their work, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
