Student Support Specialist

This is a full-time, permanent position to support a Year 3 student with additional learning needs.

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement communication strategies under allied health professionals and classroom/learning support teachers.
  • Facilitate participation using alternative and augmentative communication methods.
  • Develop strong observation skills to adapt instructions and learning activities.
  • Liaise efficiently with classroom teachers, allied health professionals, and campus learning support teachers.
  • Maintain accurate learning and communication support records.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Education Support or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience.
