Job Title:

Procurement Business Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Business Manager to lead, advise, guide, and actively manage the day-to-day procurement processes across the district.

  • The successful incumbent will review, implement, and monitor State and Local Contracts for goods and services across all disciplines.
  • Active engagement with stakeholders, both internally and externally, is key to achieving business objectives through best procurement practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive clinical experience in a health environment and/or extensive procurement management role within the health environment.
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience of clinical products, clinical equipment, and their application within the clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with the procurement of non-clinical items that support clinical outcomes within the health environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver financially sound, efficient services within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve critical and complex priorities within a healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to use computer software programs including word and excel.
  • Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake special projects within set time frames.
