Role Overview

The Financial Accountant plays a pivotal role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing strategic guidance.

We seek an experienced Financial Accountant to excel in this position. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and showcase proficiency in financial reporting.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Required Expertise:

  • Preparation of income tax working papers and liaison with external tax agents.
  • Preparation of tax-effect accounting and reporting, including note disclosures.
  • Annual FBT return preparation and lodgement.
  • Support the preparation of monthly BAS returns and other tax administration as required.
  • Preparation and review of monthly journals.

  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
