Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and efficiency of all electrical equipment at our facility.
This includes scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, responding quickly to breakdowns and production interruptions.
You will work closely with production staff to ensure equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently.
In addition to daily maintenance responsibilities, this role will also support capital projects and equipment upgrades as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

">


• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

">


• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns from production staff.

">


• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to implement timely repairs.

">


• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment during capital projects.

">


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work completed and parts used.

">


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations at all times.

">


• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

">


• Trade qualified electrician with 5+ years experience maintaining electromechanical machinery.

• Open manual car license.

">


• Experience with automated machinery and PLC programming.

">


• Mechanical fault-finding skills.

">


• Desirable: Forklift license and stainless TIG welding and fabrication skills.
