Procurement Advisor Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team as a procurement advisor, providing support and leadership in complex capital procurement services.
The ideal candidate will drive value for money and cost-effective outcomes for customers, offering procurement advice and support to various stakeholders while ensuring compliant procurement results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the provision of procurement services, including complex capital procurements and advice on negotiations, approval frameworks, and control gates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and government directives, policies, and guidelines.
- Promote timely completion of procurement projects according to departmental procedures and government regulations.
- Develop and prepare procurement and funding documentation, reports, correspondence, and briefing materials.
- Maintain tendering, purchasing, or contract development and management processes and systems.
- Review and provide advice on policy and guidelines related to procurement planning, evaluation, and negotiation processes.
Requirements:
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit or visa.
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and departmental policies.
