This role plays a key part in delivering health and wellness programs that promote the physical, mental, and cultural well-being of the community.
The Health Program Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership to staff and contractors, ensuring programs are accessible and community-driven.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to health staff and contractors, including human resources management and conflict resolution.
- Community Engagement: Engages with community members to understand their health needs and priorities.
- Health Planning: Leads the planning and implementation of community health initiatives, identifying priorities such as wellness, homecare, and elder support.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with health partners and government agencies to achieve community health goals.
This position requires a high degree of hands-on care, training, and coaching, as well as community outreach and building partnerships with clients and caregivers.
The successful candidate will be required to provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
