
Aircraft Technical Specialist

A high-impact aviation environment is calling for a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise to lead the charge in maintaining our fleet's continuing airworthiness.

- Lead and manage a team responsible for overseeing fleet reliability and defect management.
- Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective maintenance execution by monitoring disruptions and providing realistic rectification timeframes.
- Collaborate with planning, AMOs, ROC, and flying ops teams to minimize delays and optimize operational performance.
- Act as a key liaison between CAMO, AMOs, and ROC on airworthiness matters, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee fleet reliability and defect management to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate records in TRAX, reporting on technical issues and defects.
- Approve defect deferrals on behalf of CAMO, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and flight operations teams to minimize delays and optimize operational performance.
Requirements:
- LAME B1 or B2 with 5+ years in line or base maintenance, or maintenance watch/tech support experience.
- Type rating on Dash 8 and/or A220 (or similar aircraft) desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proven commitment to safety, quality, and compliance, with experience managing AOG recovery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
