About the Position
The RTW & Wellbeing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in implementing DSI Underground's Return to Work (RTW) program across Australia, ensuring a seamless recovery process for injured workers. This position will also focus on developing and implementing employee wellbeing initiatives, promoting a healthy and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's RTW program, ensuring compliance with workers' compensation legislation.
- Collaborate with the QHSE team and Managers to develop, monitor, and review RTW plans, identifying suitable work opportunities for injured workers.
- Provide coaching and education to Managers on the RTW program, process, and legislation.
- Support the Head of HR in developing and implementing wellbeing strategies to improve staff culture, morale, and happiness in the workplace.
- Investigate, design, and implement wellness initiatives, such as programs on exercise, mindfulness, and meditation.
- Measure and report on the return on investment of wellness initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar RTW position in NSW, with a strong understanding of workers' compensation legislation and the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in the system. You will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to consult with and influence stakeholders.
