Remuneration Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary ranging from $207,165 to $253,495 per year, along with additional benefits and incentives.
Job Description
This position involves working as a Staff Specialist Clinician in the General Medicine department, servicing approximately 100 inpatients/day, outpatient clinics, and remote outreach services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical knowledge, proficiency, and skills in General Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment as a member of the General Medicine team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a MBBS or equivalent qualification for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Be registered or eligible for registration as a Specialist in General Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHPRA).
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge, proficiency, and skills in General Medicine.
- Have completed not less than the equivalent of six years of full-time service in medical practice as a staff specialist.
