Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Blending Team Lead to join our team in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the blending department, ensuring smooth production plans, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate and manage the blending team to workstations, ensuring efficient production and adherence to production plans.
  • Oversee staff in the blending department, providing guidance on cleaning, changeovers, and stoppages, and ensuring all blending machinery is running smoothly.
  • Perform adjustments and changes to production batches as required, maintaining accurate batch documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and SOP's to GMP standards, maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in blending or emulsions within the cosmetics and personal care industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot on machines.
  • Experience in leading a team, with strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and outstanding work ethic.
