Cyber Security Transformation Lead

We are a technology powerhouse that delivers top-notch information technology and banking operations functions to provide unparalleled customer service through world-class process excellence and innovation. Our Cyber Security team safeguards the bank and our customers from cyber threats, losses, and risks through proactive management of security, privacy, and operational risk.
To balance work flexibility, we support our people with at least half their time spent connecting in office each month. Your New Team:
The Security Enablement team plays a vital role in driving strategic change and continuous improvement to key processes and solutions across our Cyber Security Practice, leading to better customer experiences.
As a catalyst for transformation, you will have no direct reports but will steer stakeholders with succession plans, possess structured problem-solving skills, and influence decision-makers with confidence and presence.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify key goals and develop effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Work effectively in ambiguous environments and apply structured problem-solving skills.
- Influence and advise stakeholders on strategic decisions.
- Lead by example, demonstrating empathy and contributing to the growth and development of peers and juniors in a high-performing team of security and IT professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Possess a technical background in cyber security or a related field, with the ability to translate complex technical information into business language.
- Be customer-obsessed and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
We Seek Candidates with:
- A strategic mindset and experience working in large and complex security landscapes.
- Broad executive management and engagement experience, with expertise in multiple business units.
- Consulting experience across various business units, driving change, improvement, and collaboration.
- Experience influencing wider organisational transformations to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and safety across Group Security.
- The ability to consult and influence executive leadership across our General Manager and Executive General Manager portfolio.
- A foundational understanding of cyber or IT concepts, although highly technical expertise is not required.
- CISM, ITIL, or Security+ certifications are highly regarded but not essential.
- Proficiency in tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence is viewed favourably.
- Prior management and people leadership experience is desirable but not mandatory.
