Senior Security Enablement Manager

The Commonwealth Bank's Technology division is responsible for delivering the Group's information technology and banking operations functions. Our Cyber Security team protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses, and risk events through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy, and operational risk.

Your RoleAs a Senior Security Enablement Manager, you will be the catalyst for driving strategic change and continuous improvement to key processes and solutions across our Cyber Security Practice. You will work with ambiguity, possess structured problem-solving skills, and influence stakeholders with presence and confidence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Discovering key goals and steering stakeholders with succession plans.
- Working with cross-functional teams to drive change and improvement.
- Leading people with empathy and contributing to the growth and development of peers and juniors in a high-performing team of security/IT professionals.
- Translating technical information into business language and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Being customer-obsessed and having a proactive attitude.
We are interested in people with a strategic mindset, broad executive management and engagement experience, and proficiency in consulting across multiple business units. You should have experience in influencing the wider organization to work more collaboratively, efficiently, and safely across Group Security. A foundational understanding of cyber or IT is essential, but you don't need to be highly technical. CISM, ITIL, or Security+ is highly regarded but not mandatory. ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and prior management and people leadership experience are also desirable but not mandatory.
