The Role

This is a key role within our Payroll Team, where you will be accountable for delivering timely and accurate payroll services to our facilities. Working closely with our Payroll Team Leader, you will build strong relationships with our homes and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with relevant EBA's, awards, and entitlements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of Regis facilities
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
  • Interpreting various EBA's, awards, and entitlements
  • Assisting senior payroll team members with reconciliation and month-end procedures and payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and queries, escalating complex issues on a timely basis
  • Assisting in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of annual statutory returns (e.g., PAYG Payment Statements, Payroll Tax, and Workers Compensation Remuneration returns)
Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience working in a large Payroll function and team
  • Experience interpreting multiple complex Awards/Agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Chris21 and Human Force systems (preferable)
  • Advanced Microsoft suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
