Senior Project Manager Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Brisbane office. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful project execution, technical quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Manage and oversee the technical aspects of mineral processing projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of the project's engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with functional managers (mechanical/civil & structural/electrical and instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
