We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Grange Resources Tasmania. As a key member of our Business Planning and Analysis team, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and major capital expenditure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and distribution of the annual life of mine budget and forecasting requirements to our site-based teams.
- Take ownership of a wide range of accounting challenges and drive business improvements through data analysis and recommendations.
- Partner with site teams and management to validate proposed projects and investments, ensuring maximum business value.
- Monitor cost performance on major projects and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Conduct commercial analysis and develop strategies to optimize business performance.
- Develop and analyze cost reports using business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist with the management of the business's capital portfolio, including developing business cases, project implementation, cost tracking, and emission tracking and reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting.
- Financial acumen and excellent analytical skills.
- 3 years of professional experience in an accounting/finance-related role.
- CPA/CA or associated professional association (or working towards).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI will be advantageous.
- Current full manual driver's license.
