Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our financial strategies.

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of the annual life of mine budget and forecasting requirements to site-based teams.
• Take ownership of a wide range of accounting challenges and drive business improvements through data analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Partner with site teams and management to validate proposed projects and investments, ensuring maximum business value.
• Monitor cost performance on major projects and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Develop and analyze cost reports using business intelligence tools, providing insights to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with key decision-makers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive business growth.
• Assist in the management of the business's capital portfolio, including developing business cases, project implementation, cost tracking, and emission tracking and reporting.
