Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Collection Specialist to join our pathology collection team. As a key member, you will play a critical role in servicing high-profile clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform drug and alcohol testing and other pathology collections on-site and on-call
  • Participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call roster with full support and training
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and documentation accuracy
  • Prepare and package specimens in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Liaise professionally with clients, clinic staff, couriers, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Pathology Collection or relevant collection experience
  • Previous experience with onsite or commercial collections highly desirable
  • Strong sense of responsibility and independence with ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle essential
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call as part of a rotating roster
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current work rights in Australia

Vaccination Requirements:

  • Evidence of Hepatitis B immunisation required
  • Additional vaccinations may be required depending on client/site
