Speech Pathology Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to take on a leadership role within our team.

About The Role

This position involves providing clinical leadership to our team of Speech and Language Pathologists, with a focus on assessing client conditions, creating tailored treatment plans, and coaching the team to improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Assess client conditions using standardised tools to determine optimal treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Create tailored treatment plans considering client's age, abilities, and medical/physical factors.
  • Team Development: Demonstrate high standards of service delivery and clinical expertise for the team to emulate.
  • Mentorship: Coach and mentor the Speech Therapy team to improve the quality of services.
About You
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from an accredited university.
  • Current registration/membership with SPA.
  • Experience in managing complex caseloads, assessment, and treatment plan development, supervision of staff or volunteers (preferably in a paediatric environment).
  • Strong clinical experience (minimum 3 years postgraduate).

  • Professional empathy and rapport-building skills.
