This is a highly respected position at a leading Australian aged care facility, offering high-quality clinical leadership and support to both the clinical and personal care teams.
- Promote exceptional resident outcomes by ensuring quality clinical care delivery across all shifts in line with Aged Care quality standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to clinical and support teams to optimize their performance and efficiency in delivering high-quality resident care.
- Maintain close adherence to infection control measures while working diligently within our policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibility as second-in-charge under the Residential Manager to ensure seamless operations within our residential setting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for providing top-notch care to elderly individuals.
- Active registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough comprehension of the Aged Care Act and Quality Standards.
- Proven expertise in AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Deep understanding of age-related health issues and comprehensive clinical knowledge.
- Demonstrated familiarity with workplace health and safety protocols.
- Previous experience working in a similar capacity within a residential aged care setting.
- Strong training/coaching abilities and interpersonal influence skills.
- Customer-centric approach to business practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to apply for police checks and NDIS clearance.
