Warehouse Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our planning and warehousing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for business operations, providing visibility into stock holdings at all times.
  • Manage inventory movements, ensuring systematic and accurate recording to maintain optimal inventory levels, driving efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Identify and manage finished goods approaching shelf life, minimising stock obsolescence and maintaining high inventory accuracy levels.
  • Ensure third-party logistics (3PL) inventory aligns with company stock control systems, streamlining the supply chain and enhancing delivery performance.
  • Develop and implement an end-to-end monthly stock take program, providing timely insights into inventory status and informing strategic decisions.
  • Analyse inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations, driving cost savings and improving operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership skills, providing direction and support to ensure the team delivers warehouse KPIs.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good numerical ability, to effectively communicate inventory information to stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
