Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Onsite Injury Prevention team in a locum capacity. As a Physiotherapist - Injury Prevention Specialist, you will play a key role in assessing and treating injuries, conducting workplace assessments, and educating and empowering workers on how they can take ownership of their health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Early Intervention Physiotherapy – assess and treat injuries before they progress to chronic conditions
  • Workplace Assessments – conduct thorough assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to prevent injuries
  • Education and Training – educate and empower workers on how they can take ownership of their health and prevent injuries
  • Build lasting relationships with workers, supervisors, and site leaders to help improve their health and safety culture
  • Developing Injury Prevention Plans – work with your leadership team and site contacts to develop and implement effective injury prevention plans

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of musculoskeletal experience in an onsite or private practice setting
  • Physiotherapy degree with full AHPRA registration
  • Great communication skills to create and maintain good relationships and the ability to liaise comfortably with a wide range of people
  • A committed, curious and flexible attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Resident or approved work visa
  • Driver's license and own transport
